A Caring, Local Physician

Yomi Joseph Fayiga, M.D., graduated from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. He completed his residency in General Surgery at Parkland Memorial Hospital and the University of Texas Southwestern Affiliated Hospitals in Dallas, Texas. He obtained his fellowship training in Colon and Rectal Surgery at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas.

In 1996, Dr. Fayiga began his private practice in surgery with Ellis County Surgical Associates, PA, located in Waxahachie, Texas.

In addition to local patient care, Dr. Fayiga is Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center Dallas since 2005 and is the Board Chairman of the Surgery Center of Waxahachie. He has also been an Executive Committee member of the Baylor Medical Center, Waxahachie.

Dr. Fayiga is board certified by the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery and the American Board of Surgery.

Dr. Fayiga, his wife, Siyan and their three children live and attend church in Waxahachie.
